PLAY3R is a gaming wallet that aims to be the goto wallet for Web3 and Crypto Gaming. A gaming wallet that gets gamers into the action within seconds.

With the rise of Crypto and Blockchain getting more well known by the minute, Gaming is one of if the best catalyst to push the technology to the masses. But with any new technology there is always bumps and barriers of it getting accepted from public. And not to mention gamers being one of the hardest and most vocal crowds to please, A Seamless and fuss free solution is needed. In this research study, A moderated usability was ran with 3 different types of gamers to evaluate a prototype of a proposed gaming wallet experience with a near fuss free setup and seamless flow designed to get the gamers into the action straight away, The results were unique and provided a valuable insight to the creation of the application.

I acted as the Lead UX/UI Designer and Led the design charge, driving user-centric research, collaborative brainstorming, and iterative prototyping to deliver a solution that resonated with users, fit constraints, and met business goals.

The gaming wallet ‘Play3r’ aims to be the go to crypto and NFT wallet for gamers. Removing unnecessary steps for gamers and making it a smooth and seamless experience with little to no knowledge of Crypto, NFT and blockchain. Steps to build this requires up to date research on the current landscape from both the crypto/nft/blockchain and gaming space. To understand more what gamers want out of a crypto gaming wallet and what pain points they currently go through. This research was done in 4 phases.

Through this investigation we were able to uncover more information from our users regarding their preference with crypto wallets and their relation to games. They were able to successfully proceed thorough a single testing iteration. We observed favourable results and suggest more testing with other flows to further understand how our solution fits the user needs.

Game wallet for games

Gamers prefer gaming wallets that takes them to the action straight away. Reducing all the processes that relates to Crypto/Blockchain and only showing ones that matter for the context is preferable. Options to have the process automated or manual is also preferred as it gives control to the users. Focusing on our strength to be a gaming wallet and to ease the process of actually playing a blockchain game without all the unnecessary wording of crypto and blockchain related copy benefits the Play3r wallet and sways user to choose Play3r wallet then the other competitors when it comes to playing a game.
